The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened registration for the National Eligibility Cumulation Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET UG 2021). Students can now apply for the exam via the NTA’s official websites, neet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. NEET 2021 will be held on September 12th, 2021, according to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The exam had been scheduled earlier.
The NTA is likely to disseminate the information bulletin when the NEET 2021 application form is completed. The medical admission exam is given in a variety of languages, and the information bulletin is distributed in all of them. The bulletin contains vital information for students, such as NEET 2021 qualifying criteria, important dates, result and counselling schedules, reservation criteria, the application process, and so on.
The Education Minister promised students that the agency will take all necessary efforts to safeguard the safety of pupils taking the NEET exam. Mr Pradhan’s declaration on Monday brought solace to lakhs of students who had been perplexed by the exam date. Students were inquiring if the exam would be postponed with less than a month to go. Amid the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, many people expressed fear about going in for a physical exam.
Education Minister said “To ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols, the face mask will be provided to all candidates at the centre. Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation, seating with social distancing etc. will also be ensured.
To ensure social distancing norms, the number of cities where the examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198.
The number of examination centres will also be increased from the 3862 centres used in 2020”
